[about]
Pepe Bratanov
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Pepe Bratanov is a Creative Director with more than 15 years of experience creating ideas, brands and experiences that connect with people. His work spans global campaigns, independent businesses and cultural initiatives, always balancing strategic thinking with a love of craft and culture.
Beyond the agency world, Pepe co-founded The Local Collective, an independent creative agency, before co-founding The Local Gallery, a contemporary art gallery dedicated to presenting bold work at the intersection of fine art and popular culture. Building both businesses from the ground up has given him a founder's perspective on creativity, where great ideas are measured not only by the attention they earn but by the communities they build.
Alongside his work in advertising, Pepe continues to develop an internationally exhibited contemporary art practice exploring sport, nostalgia and popular culture through work that celebrates play, memory and shared experiences. Whether developing brands, leading creative teams, curating exhibitions or creating art, he believes the most meaningful creative work earns a lasting place in people's lives and, ultimately, culture.
